Sunflowers

The birds truly enjoy the seeds. I never have the time to get seeds picked for next year's planting, so have to purchase more each Spring. This year I had to keep replanting because of something that keep digging up the seeds (most likely chipmunks), then the little seedlings were eaten by the rabbits and slugs. But I did manage to have a large selection. The leaves of the sunflower were my donkey's favorite.

Mexican Sunflowers on the right, were one of the favorites of mine and the birds.

I don't know how these Mammoth ones didn't blow over.
